    Returns Policy

    We want you to love your Mussen piece so if you are unhappy with your purchase you are able to receive a full refund of the purchase price excluding postage within five days of receiving your order.

    All items notified for return after five days of receiving the order are refunded as a store credit equal to the value of purchase excluding postage costs for up to 14 days after receiving your order.  No returns will be accepted after 14 days of receiving your order.

    No returns accepted for final sale items, swimwear or cosmetics.

    No returns accepted for Boxing Day Sale items or Warehouse Sale items.

    All returns are subject to conditions listed below.

    * Please note the following only applies to online purchases and in store purchases are subject to a different returns policy.  If you wish to return an item purchased in store at Mussen Boutique please visit us in store or call (02) 6162 0664 or email us at customercare@mussen.com.au.


    Returning an order

    How do I return an item?

    To return an item…

    • Email us at customercare@mussen.com.au quoting your order number and reason for return.
    • We will then send you an RA number that will need to be included in with your return.
    • Send your item back to us*
    • Your refund/credit will be processed within 3-5 business days of receiving the return.

    *We recommend using registered post to return items. Mussen does not accept responsibility for any items that fail to make their way back to us.


    What can I return?

    Your item can be returned if it meets all of the following…

    • It is in its original condition
    • The item must be unworn and unwashed and have no traces of perfume, deodorant etc...
    • All tags are attached
    • It meets the return time frames listed above
    • You have contacted Mussen and received an RA number

    Due to hygiene reasons Mussen cannot accepts returns on any beauty, earrings, swim wear or lingerie products.

    Returns failing to meet these standards will be sent back to the sender at their cost.

    Any items listed as final sale are not eligible for return. 


    Will my shipping costs be refunded?

    We only refund shipping costs for faulty items. Change of mind returns do not receive a shipping refund.


    Does Mussen cover the cost of sending an order back?

    Mussen does not cover the cost of return postage.


    Can I return my items to a Mussen Boutique Store?

    Online returns will not be accepted for return at Mussen Boutique stores.  All online returns must be returned via mail.


    Can I just send my item back and hope for the best?

    Mussen will not open or accept any returns sent incorrectly. An additional charge may apply for the item/s to be sent back.


    Good to know.

    Any items damaged on return due to incorrect packaging will not be eligible for a refund and only a credit may be granted.


    Faulty items

    All faulty items must follow the same procedures to return.  Once received back by Mussen the faulty item/s will be inspected and a refund will be granted if the item is deemed to be faulty. 


    Sale Items

    All sale items are final and cannot be returned. Please choose wisely.



    Due to the fast turn over on our stock we are unable to offer exchanges on returned items.  If the item you are after is still available you may purchase it using your issued credit as a new transaction.



    All credits are valid for strictly 12months from the date of issue.  No extensions can be granted on credits, no exceptions.

    Credits are to be treated as cash and no replacements can be given for accidental loss.

    Credits are valid both online and in store at Mussen Boutique.
